Dance III

This dance was better than the last one. I danced with a lot of guys and the DJ was a lot better than the last time! It was with 8 different stakes cause a lot of people are out of town during thanksgiving break. We ate Oreos, Popcorn and other candy and the room was decorated with a lot of balloons. And of course(Iknew it before) people popped the balloons during the dance. One time a girl popped one right in front of me and I just screamed;D It was awkward at the beginning of the dance cause they were only 15 people there but later it got pretty crowded! It was cold in the building and outside but when you danced it was fine. I am excited for the New years dance:D Everybody says the new years dances are the best ones:)

Swimming

Yeeehaaaa... I am joining the swim team. Just to do some sports. I like swimming;) Americans take sports very serious and they are very competitive! I am not competitive at all! I just swim as slow as I want and when I don't wanna swim what the coach is saying I am just like: "sry I am from Germany I didn't know what to do:D" As long as I swim the coach won't yell at me so I just try to have fun! We practice from 6:55 till 8:45... It is pretty long! We swim the whole time and get back to school at 9:30. So that is my morning every week day! Sometimes it is really hard but I just remind my self to have fun and when you do that it is more fun for you! As long as you wanna have fun you can have fun!

My first "job"

Last Friday I and Christina were babysitters for 2 kids. A boy(8) and a girl(5). 
They were adorable! The boy ate sooo much and the girl laughed a lot. We watched some movies tried to play Battleship(Schiffe versenken) and played x-box. It was fun and the kids were cute:)

Concert

About two weeks ago I was at a walk the moon concert. It is not the music I love most but it was ok. It is kind of a hard rock band. But it was a fun time to hang out with some friends! So when someone invites you: except it even if it is not your favorite thing to do! It is time to be with your friends and make new friend, improve relationships!

SAD!

This Saturday a boy from my school died in a car accident. His name was Jared. It is terrible and I am sry for all people who knew him and hope he had a good life! It is shocking to see what can happen and it can happen to everyone... You don't even have to make a mistake... I just think it is really true: " lebe jeden Tag, als wäre es dein letzte." It is hard to do that but this story right in my new neighborhood tells me that it's a good thing to do in your life! We won't forget you Jared! Rip Jared

Election

Yeah almost everyone knows that Texas is a red state which means they are very conservative and voted for Romney. Not everyone but most people and about 99% in my church probably voted for Romney cause he is mormon. It doesn't really matter if you vote in Texas cause Texas will be Republican. Some teachers and kids were like: "I am moving to Canada" cause Obama won... My friend wore an Obama shirt on election day and the day after and she is still alive. She got sone comments but she us alright so it is not violent because of the election! I really wanted to have an Obama shirt when I saw her:) The Election is a bigger deal to the teenagers than in Germany. In Germany I don't care about the president as long as he/she is not NPD!

Mound Showdown

The football game against Flower Mound High School. A game about dead and life. We woooooon!!!:D 34:14! So awesome! We needed to win and we won and are going to the play outs! So another football game:) After time was out everyone ran on the field screamed and was happy. The football coach talked and everybody else was quiet to hear his words. He almost cried and there were a lot of other people almost cried cause they were sooooo happy! So cute:D and I have to tell you I was very happy after the game too cause it was an awesome experience to be there and seeing everybody so happy!
